Thanks to their closed-back design, the T5 headphones are particularly suitable for use in louder environments and, thanks to their low impedance,
can be easily connected to mobile devices. The T5 headphones feature Tesla transducers developed by beyerdynamic Germany. Individually measured and matched in pairs, they guarantee maximum sound precision and natural reproduction.
The special arrangement of the drivers also guarantees precise spatial perception; the music appears in front on centre stage, just like at a concert! The transducers are arranged in their classical tilt for a clear and natural sound. This generation of the T5 improves the sound experience yet again, with a particularly authentic reproduction of sounds, tuned for high-end realism especially in the upper mids. Both voices and instruments are now clearly and distinctly perceptible, it sounds like being at a live performance.
For the best possible signal transmission to the headphones, the T5 headphones feature detachable cables made of high-purity OCC 7N copper. The balanced mode connection cables available as accessories offer further potential for sound optimisation. High-quality materials such as finely brushed, anodised aluminum and Alcantara not only give the T5 an elegant design, but also guarantee a long working life. Replaceable ear pads, which adapt particularly well to the wearer thanks to memory foam, are extremely comfortable to wear and guarantee long-lasting, carefree listening enjoyment.

TESLA TECHNOLOGY
The T5’s drivers feature our legendary Tesla technology.
The Tesla drivers are developed, manufactured and individually measured
at our German headquarter where they are then matched to ensure
both sides of the headphones have the best pairing.
The result is extreme precision and particularly spacious sound.
EXTREME COMFORT
The replaceable, breathable velour ear pads contain a multi-layer filing which helps fine-tune the sound when while also making the headphones extremely comfortable to wear. One of the layers is made from memory foam which adapts to each user and ensures an excellent customised fit. As a result, nothing can stand in the way of a long listening session.
FINEST MATERIALS
High-end through and through: Only high-quality materials are used in the T5 headphones. The housing covers are made from lacquered stainless steel and the yokes use brushed and anodised aluminium for a particularly striking surface structure.
The plug-in cables are covered in fabric and contain conductors made from ultra-high-purity OCC7N copper – the highest-quality material available for ensuring optimum signal transmission. Finally, the use of Alcantara® gives this model that certain something that elevates it to a truly high-end set of headphones.
WHAT'S IN THE BOX?
The components of the T5 headphones are made almost exclusively in Germany. In addition to development and production of the drivers, final headphone assembly is also carried out at the company’s headquarters in Heilbronn.

What is the difference between the T5 & T1 (3rd Generation) and prior versions?
The T5 achieves a more realistic reproduction of high mid-range frequencies. Especially voices and instruments are much clearer and more accentuated.
The T1 comes up with gently intensified bass to give the very authentic, spatial sound signature more warmth for even more enjoyment.
Both models benefit from their new, appealing design and high-grade materials.
What is the difference between the T5 & T1?
The T5 is primarily recommended for noisier environments thanks to its closed-back design. External, ambient noise is reduced while sound can’t leak out from the headphones.
The open-back design of the T1 headphones ensures the best, most natural spatial sound reproduction possible. Since ambient sound is still audible, a quiet environment is advisable.
Why do the T5 / T1 (3rd Gen) have a 32ohm impedance?
The Tesla transducers used in T5 / T1 (3rd generation) have been optimised to an impedance of 32 ohms. As a result, these headphones achieve the highest performance and best sound quality on all music sources, both stationary amplifiers and mobile players.
In contrast to the T5 predecessor models of the 1st and 2nd generation with an impedance of 600 ohms, no special headphone amplifier is required.
